Flower Clocks Motif Zaishu


This flower Clocks “Zaishu” (Japanese word for small seat) was created by Rachel (Australian pioneer artist of sustainable practices in fashion and interior design founder of Bird Textile) who has selected favorite designs from her range of hand printed organic fabrics. to adorn this seat/table. This Zaishu can be used both as a seat or side table. It is eco-friendly and made of plantation Australian Hoop Pine and water based inks and varnish, these seat/table received an Australian “Good environmental choice” certification. An unique hip, artistic and functional object designed by Zaishu Studio launched in 2004 by Australian designers Matthew Butler and Helen Punton. Your Zaishu will come flat packed in reusable drawstring bags, which have been stitched lovingly by women with intellectual disabilities as part of a rewarding community program. Assemble in one minute with unique slot together durable design. The inner packaging is biodegradable, made of cornstarch. The artwork features indigo flower clocks, brown vine leaves and peat green seed polka. This is another original Zaishu with a functional artistic flare.
